Proud to proclaim her status as a Baby Boomer, Elisabeth Monaghan created the Haute Flash Site as a resource for women, who like Elisabeth, are faced with the realities of getting older and aren't quite sure what to do with this reality. By the time most women reach the age of 50, we are winding down our menstrual cycles – we've either embarked upon or finished menopause – some of us have had hysterectomies.
Unfortunately, many women are embarrassed and even ashamed to admit we've hit milestones like 50, 60 and 70. Unfortunate because these are our years of greatest wisdom.
Aging is an inevitable and natural process. It is not something we should hide or be ashamed of. By taking care of ourselves, and talking to each other, we will continue to discover new ways to age gracefully and elegantly. I hope that the Haute Flash Site is a valuable resource that reminds you women shouldn't sweat getting older.
